An enormous technological breakthrough will come if machines can understand natural language at least as good as an average human. Such natural-language advances would increase the technical potential for automation from 53 % of all labor to 60 % in retail, and in finance and insurance even from 43 to 66 %. Healthcare technology will eventually become more capable of being automated as well.
