Walmart, the world's largest retail chain of discount stores, is offering its employees a new training tool: virtual reality headsets will enter traditional classrooms.
In co-operation with the STRIVR startup, which created virtual training for, amongst others, the National Football League in the USA, Walmart has in recent months tested virtual reality in its 31 training academies.
These training academies focus on training employees before they enter the company or a new role.
By the end of this year, the new training method should be launched in all 200 Walmart's training academies in the USA.
