How to lead a subordinate with no experience in the given position

These days, it is more common than in the past that a new person hired to fill a vacancy has virtually no experience in the given role or even in that particular field of business. This is partly a result of the situation on the job market and it can be seen not only in general or non-specialist positions, but also in technical fields. Managing such a person of course poses a certain challenge for their manager. This article offers some tips on leading a subordinate who lacks experience in the given position.
